235 Perches to the end of one hundred & twenty seven perches on the fifth line of the Original Tract then with said line south three degrees West forty one perches to the end thereof then south sixty one degrees west twenty four perches then south four degrees East one hundred perches then by a strait line to the beginning containing sixty eight & one half acres of land more or less also all that tract of land being part of a tract of land called Boy^d^s Delay conveyed the said Abraham Boyd by John Boyd Beginning at the original beginning of a tract of land called Danzick & running thence North nine Degrees East one hundred and sixty eight perches then west sixty & one half perches then by a strait line to the beginning containing and laid out for thirty one and one half Acres of Land more or less together with all and singular the advantages improvements & appurtenances to the said Lands belonging or in any wise appertaining To have & to hold the said lands and premisses hereby granted sold aliened and confirmed with all and every advantage & appurtenances hereunto belonging unto the said Thomas Sprigg Wootton his Heirs & assigns for ever and to the only proper use of him the said Thomas Sprigg Wootton his Heirs & Assigns for ever And the said Abraham Boyd doth hereby grant for him and his heirs & Assigns that the said Abraham Boyd & his Heirs the lands and premisses hereby granted sold aliened & confirmed & every part thereof with all the advantages and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Thomas Sprigg Wootton his heirs or Assigns against him the said Abraham Boyd his heirs and Assigns & against all and every other person claiming by from or under him them will forever warrant & defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Abraham Boyd hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his seal the day and Year above written Signed Sealed and Delivered Abraham Boyd (Seal) In Presence of Joseph Wilson Rich.d Wootton On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) June 26 Anno Domini 1784 Then received of Thomas Sprigg Wootton the full sum of two hundred Pounds Currency in full for the consideration money within mentioned Test P me Abraham Boyd Joseph Wilson Richard Wootton On the day and year within mentioned came Abraham Boyd before us t^w^o of the Justices of the peace for Montgomery County & acknowledged the lands and Premises within mentioned to be the right & Estate of ^the^ within mentioned Thomas Sprigg Wootton his heirs & Assigns forever 6½ sides Acknowledged before us Joseph Wilson Rich.d Wootton Recorded 30.th July 1784 Ex.d dl.d & p.d This Indenture made this ^the^ fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and eighty four Between Arther Nelson of Frederick County and State of Maryland planter of the one part and Richard Wootton of Montgomery County and State aforesaid planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Arther Nelson for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds Current |
