212 With Interest thereon payable annually on or before the first Day of May which shall happen in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Six and further the said Thomas Dorsey for himself his heirs and Assigns doth also further covenant grant and Agree to and with the said Evelyn Pierrepont his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Thomas Dorsey and his heirs shall and will at all Times hereafter in Case ^default^ Shall be made in payment of the Principal sum and Interest as aforesaid and the Lands aforesaid or any Part thereof shall be sold in Virtue of the Trusts aforesaid that he and his Heirs Shall and will make and execute or Cause to be made and executed any further or other Instrument of writing for the further Confirmation of the Right and Title of the Purchaser or Purchasers thereof their Heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof the said Thomas Dorsey hath hereto set his Hand and Seal the Day and year above written Signed Sealed and Delivered Thomas Dorsey (Seal) In the presence of R Ridgely W.m Grahame At the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written (Viz.t) Received the Day and Year within mentioned of and from Evelyn Pierrepont the Sum of five Shillings Current money the Consideration within mentioned Witness Thomas Dorsey R Ridgely County of Baltimore State of Maryland To wit Be it remembered that on the thirtieth Day of April 1784 personally appeared before us the subscribers two Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid Thomas Dorsey the Granter within named and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing as his Act and Deed and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned to be the right title and Estate of the within named Evelyn Pierrepont his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning of the said Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case provided Certified before L Goodwin Jn.o Merryman Baltimore County to wit I hereby Certify that Lyde Goodwin & John Merryman Gentlemen before whome the within Acknowledgment was taken and who have thereto Subscribed their names were at the Day of the date thereof and still are two Justices of the peace in and for the County aforesaid and to all Certificates by them given as such due faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout In Testimony Whereof I have hereto Set my hand 13½ sides County and affixed the Seal of my Office this tenth Day of seal May Seventeen hundred and Eighty four William Gibson Clk B Coty Recorded 13.th May 1784 Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty first Day of April in the Year One thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Between Benjamin Gaither of Ann Arundel County of the one part and John Norwood & Mary Norwood of the Town and County of Baltimore of the other part Witnesseth That the said Benjamin for and in Consideration of divers good Causes and for and in Consideration of the sum of five Shillings Specie to him the said |
