170 Execution as well of the Statutes touching Orders for Bankrupts made in the parliament begun and holden at Westminster the second Day of April in the Thirteenth Year of the Reign of Elizabeth late Queen of England made and provided As of the Statute made in the parliament begun and holden at Westminster thousand aforesaid the Nineteenth Day of March in the first Year of the Reign of the late King James the first of England France and Ireland and of Scotland the Seven and fiftieth Intituled " An Act for the better Relief of Creditors against such as shall become Bankrupts And also of the Statutes made in the parliament begun and holden at Westminster aforesaid the Nineteenth Day of February in the One and twentieth Year of the Reign of the said late King James the first of England France and Ireland and of Scotland the seven and fiftieth Intituled An Act for the further Discription of a Bankrupt and Relief of Creditors against such as shall become Bankrupts and for inflicting Corporal Punishment upon the Bankrupts in some special Cases And also of the Statutes made in the fifth Year of the Reign of his late Majesty King George the second Intituled An Act to prevent the committing of frauds by Bankrupts upon trust of the Wisdom fidelity Diligence and provident Circumspection which we have conceived in you do by these Presents name Assign appoint constitute and ordain you our special Commissioners Hereby giving full power and Authority unto you four or three of you whereof you the said Rowles Scudamore or Henry Hobhose to be one to proceed according to the said Statutes and all other Statutes in force concerning Bankrupts not only concerning the said Bankrupt his body Lands tenements freehold and Customary Goods Debts and other things whatsoever but also concerning all other persons who by Concealment Claim or Otherwise do or shall offend touching the premises or any part thereof contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the said Statutes and to do and execute all and every thing and things whatsoever as well for and towards Satisfaction and Payment of the said Creditors as toward and for all other intents and purposes according to the Ordinance and Provision of the same Statutes willing and commanding you four or three of you whereof you the said Rowles Scudamore or Henry Hobhouse to be one to proceed to the Execution and accomplishment of this our Commission according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Statutes with all deligence and effect witness our Self at Westminster the first day of February in the Seventeenth Year of our Reign The great Yorke Seal Recorded second day of November 1783 of England 16 sides |
