686 proper Use and Behoof of the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever And the said Adin Pancoast for himself and his Heirs doth covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire that he the said Adin Pancoast and his Heirs the above two hundred Acres of Land with all and singular its appurtenances be the same comprised within the Bounds and Limits above expressed or in any other manner whatsoever and every part thereof against him and his Heirs and against all and every other Person and Persons whatsoever to the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents In Witness whereof he hath hereunto set his Hand and affixed his Seal the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered In the presence of Adin Pancoast (LS) Tho.s Maddux j.r On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the 7.th Day of May 1774 of the within named Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire the Sum of Three hundred & fifty pounds being the full Consideration Money by him expressed to be paid to me £350 Adin Pancoast Witness Tho.s Maddux jun.r On the seventh day of May 1774 Came before me the Subscriber One of the Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Adin Pancoast party to the within Deed and acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esquire according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided Acknowledged before (Vide Page 711 for Wifes Acknowledgment) Philip Thomas Lee Received of John Clarvo the Sum of Eight shillings Sterling being the Alienation due on the within Land to the Lord Proprietor by Virtue of a Commission from Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Test 9 sides J Brice Recorded 4.th Day of June 1774 Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty seventh Day of May one thousand seven hundred and seventy four Between Daniel Dulany of the City of Annapolis Esquire son of Walter Dulany late of the City afd Esquire and Devisee of James Heath late of Baltimore County deceased of the one part and Daniel Charles Heath Brother and Heir at Law of the said James Heath of the other part Witnesseth that the said Daniel Dulany for and in Consideration of the Sum of five shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said Daniel Charles Heath before the Execution of these presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargained & sold released and confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain and sell release and confirm unto the said Daniel |
