64 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received this 19.th day of September 1770 of the within named William the Sum of four Hundred and sixty nine Pounds Sixteen Shillings Current Money being for the within mentioned Consideration Money John Burgess Jun.r Basil Burgess P me Will Coale Ann Arundel County fs.t On the Nineteenth day of September Seventeen hundred and seventy Came the within named William Coale and Anne his wife before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within mentioned Land and Premisses to be the Right & Estate of him the within named Leonard Kitsmiller his Heirs and Assigns for ever John Burgess Jun.r Basil Burgess Received of M.r Leonard Kitsmiller the Sum of Thirteen Shillings and eleven pence Sterling Money for the use of Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation Money on the within Land by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Recorded 9.th October 1770 J Brice 11 Sides x.d This Indenture made this Sixteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Seventy Between William Lux of baltimore County Merchant William Lyon of Baltimore County Physician Charles Grahame of Calvert County Merchant and James Dick of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the one part and John Dorsey of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the other part and that the said William Lux William Lyon Charles Grahame and James Dick for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred fifty two Pounds Sterling to them in hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof they hereby acknowledge and therewith to be fully Satisfied and paid and thereof and therefrom and of every part & parcel thereof doth acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said John Dorsey his Executors and Administrators by these Presents Have given granted bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and these Presents they the said William Lux William Lyon Charles Grahame and James Dick do give grant bargain alien enfeoff and confirm to him the said John Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that part of a Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Baltimore County called Eppington Forrest Beginning for the same at the end of the Sixth Course of the Original survey being South five degrees East fifty Perches and running the several Courses of the Original Survey according to the Certificate thereof until you arrive at the end of the Ninety second Course being South Eighty one (Degrees) |
