558 And it is hereby further Covenanted concluded granted declared and fully agreed by and between all the said Parties to these Presents that from and immediately after the suffering and perfecting the said Recovery or Recoveries as well these Presents and the Assurance hereby made as also the common Recovery or Recoveries so as aforesaid or in any other Manner to be had suffered and perfected shall be and enure and shall be adjudged construed and deemed and taken & is & are and was and were meant and intended and is and are hereby declared to be and enure and the Recoveror or Recoverors in the ^said^ Recovery or Recoveries named or to be named and he and they and his and their Heirs shall stand and be seised of the Tracts or Parcells of Lands aforesaid and all and singular the Premisses with the Appurtenances to and for the only proper Use and Behoof of the same Edward Lloyd his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to or for no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and year first above Written William Garey (LS) Sealed & Delivered in the Presence of Edward Lloyd (LS) Charles Gardiner James Tilghman 3.d (LS) Rich.d Grason On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Reced on the Day and Year first within Written from the within Edward Lloyd the Sum of Twelve hundred Pounds Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid me Test William Garey On the seventeenth Day of April 1773 in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy three came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within William Garey Edward Lloyd and James Tilghman and severally Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their Respective Act & Deed to and for the Uses Intents and purposes therein mentioned Recorded the 10.th Sept.r 1773 Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer x.d This Indenture made the twenty sixth Day of Ap.l in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between Jane Dalton of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Widow of the one Part Charles Mankin of Charles County aforesaid Planter of the second Part And Richard Lee Junior of the County aforesaid Gentleman of the third Part Witnesseth that the said Jane Dalton for and in consideration of the Sum of Ten Shillings Sterling MOney of great Britain to her in hand paid by the said Charles Mankin at and before the ensealing and Delivery hereof the Receipt whereof she hereby Acknowledgeth and him thereof doth hereby for ever exonerate and discharge and also for and in Consideration of ^one^ other Sum of Ten Shillings ^Sterling^ aforesaid to her likewise in hand paid by the said Richard Lee ^at^ and before ensealing and delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof she doth hereby also Acknowledge and him the said Richard thereof doth exonerate and for ever discharge Hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents the said Jane Dalton doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm to him the said Charles Mankin and his Heirs to the Uses and Intents herein particularly after mentioned (all) |
