504 X.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these Presents that We William Eddis of the City of Annapolis William Fitzhugh of Calvert County and George Plater of S.t Mary's County Esq.rs are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his Heirs and Successors in the full and just Sum of Six Thousand Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Lord Proprietary His Heirs and Successors To the which Payment well and truly to be made and done we bind Ourselves Our Heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these Presents sealed with Our Seals and dated this thirtieth day of April Anno Domini One Thousand seven hundred and seventy three The Condition of the above Obligation is such That if the above bound William Eddis whilst He shall continue in the Office of Commissioner for emitting Bills of Credit shall well and faithfully observe and execute the Trust reposed in him by the Act of Assembly of this Province Entitled an Act for emitting Bills of Credit and other Purposes therein mentioned according to the true Intent and meaning thereof Then the above Obligation to be Void and of none Effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue Signed Sealed and William Eddis (seal) Delivered in the presence off William Fitzhugh (seal) James Brooks Geo Plater (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Endorsed Viz.t Maryland fs.t 30.th April 1773 In pursuance of an Act of Assembly Entitled "An Act for Emitting Bills of Credit and other Purposes therein mentioned" you are hereby directed and required to renew and immediately Record amongst the Land Records of your Office the above Bond and after the same is so recorded you are to deliver the original to the Register in Chancery to be by him safely kept in the Chancery Office To the Clerk of the J Hepburn Provincial Court 3 sides Recorded the 30.th day of April 1773 x.d Maryland fs.t Know all Men by these presents that We John Clapham John Hall and Lloyd Dulany all of the City of Annapolis Gentlemen are held and firmly bound unto the Right Honourable the Lord proprietary his Heirs and Successors in the full and just Sum of Six Thousand Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Lord proprietary his Heirs and Successors To the which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this thirtieth Day of April Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and seventy three The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound John Clapham whilst |
