490 Pay unto the said Thomas Rutland the said Sum of three Hundred and fifty Pounds Sterling money with Le^a^gal Interest thereon by Good Bills of Exchange drawn on some Responsible Merchant in London at thirty days Sight on the day and year last aforesaid according to the true intent and meaning of these presents In Witness whereof the said Leonard Wayman hath hereto set his hand and seal the day and year first above mentioned Sealed and Delivered in the Presents of Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Leonard Wayman (seal) Leon.d Wayman Jun.r On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Be it remembered that on the Nineteenth Day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy three Personnally appeared the within named Leonard Wayman before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Deed and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Thomas Rutland his Heirs and assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed Taken and Certified according to Act of Assembly before me Dan.l of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Received the Day and Year of the within Indenture from the within mentioned Thomas Rutland the Sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be paid by him to me Witness Leonard Wayman Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Leon.d Wayman Jun.r 9½ Sides Recorded the 28.th of April 1773 X.d This Indenture made this twenty third day of April in the year seventeen hundred and seventy three Between John Rogers of the one part and Thomas Mackall of Calvert County Gentleman of the other part Whereas for the docking barring and extinguishing all Estates Tail and reversions or Remainders thereupon expectant or depending of and in the Lands and appurtenances herein after mentioned the said John Rogers as demandant did heretofore at the Request Cost and Charges of the aforesaid Thomas Mackall prosecute and Sue forth out of his Lordships high Court of Chancery his said Lordships Writ of Entry sur disseisin en le post against him the said Thomas Mackall returnable and returned to the provincial Court ^at Annapolis^ the second Tuesday of April Instant whereby the said John Rogers did demand against him the said Thomas Mackall all that Tract or parcel of ^plantable^ Land called Brooke place manor lying and being in Calvert County also all that tract or parcel of plantable Land called the Bush Mannig lying and being in Calvert County Also all that tract of plantable Land called Cole's Clift lying and being in Calvert County Also all that Tract ^or parcell^ of plantable Land called Garey or Garey's Chance lying and being in Calvert County Also all that tract or parcel of plantable Land called Cold Kirby lying and being in Calvert County also all that tract or parcel of plantable land called part of the Angel or Angle lying and being in Calvert County containing eighty seven acres also all that tract or parcel of plantable Land called |
