444 the eleventh day of June last past In Witness whereof the said Levin Ballard hath hereunto set his Hand and affixed his Seal this day of March One thousand seven Hundred and Seventy three Sealed and delivered the words or hereafter to belong when fully Compleated between the In the presence of Nineteenth and Twenth lines being first Interlined before the Execution of these presents Levin Ballard (seal) Sam.l Wilson Isaiah Robinson On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the day of the date of the within written Bargain and Sale of the within named Hudson and Lawson Twenty Shillings Sterling being the full Consideration Money within mentioned Reed Levin Ballard S T Witness Psent Sam.l Wilson Sommerset County fs.t On the Twentieth day of March 1773 Before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for said County Came Levin Ballard party to the within Bargained Sale and Acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed According to the true Intent and Meaning thereof And the ship or vessel therein Mentioned to be Bargained and Sold to be ^the^ Right Title Interest Estate and Property of the within Named Hudson & Lawson their Heirs and Assigns for ever Acknowledged Before Sam.l Wilson 6 Sides Recorded the 6.th of April 1773 x.d This Indenture made the second day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esq.r of the one Part and Thomas Harrison of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County (Gentleman) of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Harrison at or before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof doth release acquit and discharge the aforesaid Thomas Harrison his Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these Presents Doth grant bargain Sell alien Release and confirm unto the said Thomas Harrison his Heirs and assigns for ever all that Lott of Ground Situate lying and being in Baltimore Town aforesaid known and distinguished by the Number forty nine bounded on the west by Calvert Street on the Southward by the water of the North West Branch on the East by the Lott Number fifty two an don the North by a Lane called Lovely Lane Together with all Houses, Buildings, Gardens, Ways, Passages, Water, Water Courses easments, Improvements, Previledges, Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever on the same Lott of Ground being or to the same in any wise belonging or appertaining; And the reversion and Reversions, Remainder and remainders, Rents, Issues and Profits thereof, and of every part thereof and all the Estate, right Title, Interest, use, Trust, property, claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Charles Carroll of in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold the said Lott of Ground and premisses with its rights, Members and Appurtenances to the aforesaid Thomas Harrison his Heirs and Assigns for ever; and to and for no other use, Intent or Purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and affixed their Seals |
