364 Ex.d This Indenture made this second Day of September Anno Domini seventeen hundred and seventy two Between John Barnes Son of Adam of Ann Arundel County Planter of the one Part and William Russell of Baltimore Town in Baltimore County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that the said John Barnes Son of Adam for and in Consideration ^of the Sum^ of two hundred and twenty five pounds Sterling and two hundred Pounds Current Money to him in Hand paid by the said William Russell the Receipt whereof the said John Barnes son of Adam doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom acquit release and discharge the said William Russell hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said William Russell his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Part of a Tract or parcel of Land called the Invasion lying and being in Ann Arundel County and containing one hundred and twenty six Acres and three Quarters of an Acre of Land and all that Part of a Tract of Land called the Conclusion containing forty six Acres lying in Ann Arundel County aforesaid and butted and bounded as follows Beginning to include both the Parts or Parcels of Land aforesaid at a four notched red Oak standing at the End of one hundred & forty perches on the North eighty four Degrees West two hundred and eight perches Line of Invasion and runs thence North eighty four Degrees West Sixty eight perches to the End of the said Line still with the said Land these two following Courses to Wit North one hundred and thirty three perches North fifty five and a half Degrees East one hundred and forty eight Perches then North sixty eight Degrees West twenty six perches across the aforesaid Invasion to the End of the eightieth Course of said Land then bounding on said Invasion the five following Courses Viz.t North fifty nine Degrees West forty eight Perches South fifty six Degrees West twenty Perches South five Degrees West fifty Perches South fifty seven Degrees West sixty eight Perches North five Degrees West eight Perches to the main Road then with and bounding on said Road the five following Courses Viz.t North seventy Degrees West three Perches South eighty five and a half Degrees West thirty eight perches South Seventy two and an half Degrees West fifty eight perches North sixty nine Degrees West eleven Perches North forty six Degrees West eight perches then North seventy five Degrees West thirty two perches South one hundred and thirty two perches to intersect the one hundred and sixty Course of the aforesaid Invasion (then) |
