361 X.d This Indenture made this 16.th Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy two between Daniel Dulany of Annapolis Barrister at Law on the one part and Daniel Dulany the Younger of the same Place Gentleman eldest son of the said first named Daniel Dulany on the other part Witnesseth that the said first named Daniel Dulany for & in consideration of the natural Love and Affection he hath and beareth for and unto his said son hath given and granted and by these presents doth give & grant unto the said Daniel Dulany the Younger his heirs and Assigns to his and their proper use and behoof all his the ^said^ first named Daniel Dulany's tenth part or share of & in the Baltimore Iron Works and of & in the furnace and forges and of and in all the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and of and in all the Slaves Servants Horses and all the other Chattels and personal estate and stock belonging to or held Deemed and reputed to belong to the said Baltimore Iron Works and held in Common or Copartnership by and between the owners and Proprietors of the said Baltimore Iron works saving and excepting the outstanding Debts due to the said Copartnership or Company and saving and excepting the Iron both pig and bar already made and that shall be made from the Date of these Presents untill the last Day of October next And also hath given and granted and by these presents doth give and grant on the Consideration aforesaid unto the said Daniel Dulany the Younger all his right and title to the Land called Smiths Forrest in Baltimore County and also the following Slaves at Hunting Ridge in the said County (to wit) Flora Nanny long Sam Frank & short Sam together with all the Stock there consisting of Horses Cows black Cattle Sheep and Hoggs In Witness Whereof the aforesaid first named Daniel Dulany hath hereunto affixed his Hand and Seal the Day and year first above written Sealed and deliver'd (the word/Nanny/ first Dan.l Dulany (seal) interlined) in the Presence of On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit Ann Dulany The within and Above Deed was Acknowledged by the within grantor Daniel Dulany according to the form and Effect of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided acknowledged this 16.th Day of September 1772 5¼ sides Before me Recorded this 16.th Day of September 1772 W.m Hayward |
