341 whereof is hereby acknowledged and for the Docking barring and extinguishing all Estate Tail and all Reversions and Remainders thereupon expectant or depending of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned they the said James Williams & Elizabeth Williams by and with the Consent of the said James Tilghman testified by his being a Party to and his Sealing and executing these Presents hath granted bargained sold aliened released and confirmed and by these Presents doth grant bargain sell alien release and confirm unto him the said Alexander Contee Hanson (in his actual Possession now be my by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him there of made by them the said James Williams & Elizabeth Williams bearing Date the Day next before the Day of the Date of these Presents for one whole Year commencing from the Day next before the Day of the Date thereof and by Force of the Statute for transferring Uses into Possession) his Heirs and Assigns all that Lot or Portion of plantable Land which was heretofore to Wit on or about the twelfth Day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight bargained & sold by a certain Agnes Gordon late of Ann Arundel County to John Anderson late of the City of Annapolis deceased as appears by the Deed thereof then bearing Date which is recorded in the Secretarys Office of the Province of Maryland af.d Reference being thereto had which said Lot or Portion of plantable Land lies in Ann Arundel County & is Part of a Lot or Lotts of Land lying in the City of Annapolis aforesaid called and known by the Name of Nicholsons Lot as also of another Portion or Lot of Land adjoining to the former granted to a certain Robert Gordon by Virtue of an Act of Assembly bearing Date the twenty sixth Day of October seventeen hundred and twenty three called the Sand Bank Which said Lot or Portion of Land also is contained with the following Courses beginning at a certain Post standing in a certain lot lying in the City of Annapolis af.d called Nicholsons Lott adjoining to the Ship Carpenters Lot and running from the said Post in the said Nicholson's Lot South thirty five Degrees West eighty one Feet four Inches to another Post standing in the said Lot then running from the second Post to the outward Bound of said Nicholsons Lot and the Sand Bank (being a Lot or Portion of Land contigious to the said Nicholsons Lot) af.d South East seventy one Feet to High Water Mark of said Nicholson's Cove into a third Post & running from the third Post by and with high Water Mark of the af.d Cove North forty two Degrees, East eighty three Feet to a fourth (Post) |
