333 On the 22.d Day of June 1772 Came Ulrick Ekler and Jacob Ekler before us the Subscribers two Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and acknowledged the within Deed to be their Act and the two Parcels of Land thereby bargained and sold to be the Right, Title, and Estate of the within mentioned Christian Bower his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent & Meaning of said Deed Also Ulion Wife to the said Ulrick Ekler being by us examined out of her Husbands Hearing acknowledged all her Right of Dower to the said Bargained Parcels of Land to be the Right Title & Estate of the said Christian Bower his Heirs and Assigns and declared she made such Acknowledgment of her own free and Voluntary Will without being induced so to do by her Husband or through Fear of his Displeasure R Richards Sam.l Worthington June the 25.th Received of Christian Bower the Sum of two Shillings and one penny Sterling Money for an Alienation Fine due to Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission for Dan.l of S.t Tho.s Jenifer his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Jn.o Brice Recorded 26.th Day of June 1772 x.d In the Name of God Amen George Crawford of the City of Bristol 8½ sds Merchant or who else may or shall be concerned do make Assurance and cause themselves to be assured (Cost or not Cost) at and from Bristol to Maryland upon any Kind of lawful Goods and Merchandizes loaden or to be loaden on Board the good Shop called the Randolph of the Burthen of Tons or thereabouts whereof is Master (under God) for this present Voyage or whosoever else shall go for Master in the said Ship or by whatsoever Name or Names the said Ship or the Master thereof in or shall be named or called beginning the Adventure upon the said Goods and Merchandizes from the Loading thereof on Board the said Ship at Bris.l and so shall continue and enure until the said Ship with the said Goods and Merchandizes shall be safely arrived at aforesaid and untill the said Goods & Merchandizes safely shall be landed there And it shall be lawful for the said Ship &ca in her Voyage to proceed and sail to touch and stay at any Ports or Places without Prejudice to this Insurance The said Goods and Merchandizes |
