295 On the nineteenth Day of September seventeen hundred and seventy one came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court the within named Hillary Willson and William Hardesty and severally acknowledged the within Deed to be their respective Act and Deed to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes within mentioned and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named William Hardesty his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and provided 7 sides W.m Hayward Recorded the 7.th January 1772 X.d This Indenture made the thirteen^th Day^ of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy two, Between Thomas Johnson Junior of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law of the one Part, and sides Nathan Hammond of the same Place Merchant of the other Part witnesseth that the said Thomas Johnson Jun.r for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred and eighty seven ^Pounds^ current Money of Pensylvania to him in Hand paid by the said Nathan Hammond at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every Part and Parcel thereof doth hereby release acquit and discharge the said Nathan Hammond, his Heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assigns and every of them by these presents hath granted, bargained sold aliened, rel^e^ased enfeoffed and confirmed And by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto the said Nathan Hammond, his heirs and Assigns for ever All these one hundred and ninety three Acres of Land more or less herein after described being Part of the Tract of Land lying and being in Frederick County called the Resurvey on wild Cat Hill the whole of which Tract contains one thousand six hundred and thirty Acres more or less Beginning for the said one hundred and ninety three Acres at the End of the forty first Line of the said whole Tract and runing thence across the same Tract to the End of eight perches on the eighty seventh Line of the same Tract then runing with the Residue of the same Line and the Lines of the said whole Tract in Succession to the End of the one hundred and first Line of the same Tract the following Courses and Distances to Wit South eighty six Degrees West forty six perches South sixty Degrees West thirty six Perches South sixty four Degrees West sixty six Perches, South eighty six Degrees West twelve perches North twenty Degrees West fourteen Perches South seventy six Degrees and an half Degree West thirty four Perches North nineteen Degrees West forty two Perches North twenty five Degrees East sixty Perches North sixty seven Degrees East twenty eight Perches North three Degrees East ninety Perches North nineteen Degrees East sixty Perches West sixty Perches North forty eight Degrees West twenty six Perches North twenty Degrees East forty Perches South sixty eight Degrees West ninety six Perches, then by a Line across the said Tract to the End of the thirty fourth Line to the same Tract then with the said thirty fourth Line (and) |
