259 Exam.d This Indenture made this twenty seventh Day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one Between Samuel Chase of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Attorney of Law of the one Part and Edward Lloyd of Talbot County in the Province aforesaid Esquire of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Chase for and in Consideration if the Sum of five hundred and four Pounds eight Shillings and two Pence Sterling Money of Great Britain and two thousand four hundred and ninety one Pounds seventeen Shillings and seven Pence Current Money to him in Hand paid by the said Edward Lloyd before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents Doth grant bargain and sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Edward Lloyd his Heirs and Assigns All that Lott or Parcell of Ground scituate lying and being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid known and distinguished in Stoddert's Plat of the said City by Number one hundred and seven Beginning for the Metes and Bounds of said Lot hereby bargained and Sold or intended so to be by the said Samuel Chase at a marked Post standing in the Front of North East Street and at the North Eastermost End of a Messuage or House now in the Tenure & Occupation of a certain Richard Beard Tenant to Matthias Hammond and runing thence by and with the Gable End of said House North forty seven Degrees and one Quarter of a Degree West to the Lot or Parcel of Ground now in the Possession of M.rs Anne Ogle and thence running bounding on and with the said Lot to King George's Street thence with the said Street to its Point of Intersection with North East Street aforesaid thence bounding on and with the said North East Street reverse of the Course thereof to the first marked Post containing one Acre of Land more or less together with all and singular the Houses, Edifices, Buildings Improvements Waters Easments, Privileges, Commodities and Advantages whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining or therewith used or enjoyed together with the Appurtenances and the Reversion and Reversions REmainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits of all and singular the Premises and of ever Part and Parcel thereof and also all the Estate Right Title, Interest, Use, Trust, Property Claim & Demand whatsoever of the same Samuel Chase of in to or out of the same Land (and) |
