       John Kidd in the Sum of Three Pounds and five Pence Daniel Scott Thomas Wheeler
       Daniel Maccomas James Scott Exors of Daniel Scott Deceased in the Sum of
       Five Pounds ten Shillings and Nine pence Mess.rs Ralph Falkner & C.o in the Sum
       of Ninety five Pounds four Shillings and five pence M.r Beverly Whiting in the
       Sum of one hundred and fifty three Pounds four Shillings and seven Pence
       Mess.rs Beverly and Thomas Whiting in the Sum of one Thousand nine hundred and
       four Pounds Eleven Shillings and Eight Pence and M.r Mordecai Brath in the
       Sum of one Thousand and seventy two pounds eight Shillings and two Pence
       And further this Deponent saith that he was Present and did see Bartholomew
       Pomeroy (by the Name and Addition of Bartholomew Pomeroy of London Linen
       Draper Assignee of John Philpot and John Hutchinson late of London Merchants
       Bankrupts) Sign Seal and as his Act and Deed in due form of Law Execute
       and Deliver the Original Letter of Attorney hereunto annexed bearing Date the
       Thirteenth day of march One Thousand seven hundred and Seventy for the
       Uses Intents and Purposes therein mentioned and that the Name Ab.m Dias
       Subscribed as a Witness to the Execution of the said Letter of Attorney is of the
       proper hand Writing of him this Deponent Sworn the 15.th Day of March 1770

       To all to whom these Presents shall come I William Beckford Esq.r Lord Mayor of the City
       of London In Pursuance of an Act of Parliament made and passed in the fifth Year
       of the Reign of his Late Majesty King George the Second Intituled an Act for the more
       easy recovery of Debts in his Majestys Plantations and Colonies in               America
       do hereby Certify that on the Day of the Date hereof Personally came and Appeared
       before me Abraham Dias the Deponent named in the Affidavit hereunto annexed
       being a Person well known and worthy of good Credit and by Solemn Oath which the
       said Deponent then took before me upon the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God Did
       solemnly and sincerely declare testify and Depose to be true the several Matters and
       things mentioned and Contained in the said Annexed Affidavit   In Faith and
                                  Testimony whereof I the said Lord Mayor have Caused the Seal of
                L S             the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of London to be hereunto
                                  put & Affixed and the Several Accounts and Letter of Attorney
       mentioned and referred to in and by the said Affidavit to be hereunto also
       annexed Dated in London the fifteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord one
       Thousand seven hundred & seventy                                         Hodges

       This Indenture made the seventh day of July in the Year of our Lord one Thousand
       seven hundred & seventy Between John Hall of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the one
       part and John Cadwalader of the Province of Pensylvania Gentleman & Elizabeth
       his wife of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Hall for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of Five thousand Pounds Sterling Money to him in hand paid before the
       Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged
       Hath granted bargained and sold and by these Presents Doth grant bargain
       and sell unto the said John Cadwalader and Elizabeth his wife and the Heirs
