                                                 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit

       Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named John Brice the
       sum of six Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be by said John Brice

       On the twenty ninth Day of August in the year seventeen hundred and seventy one came the
       within named Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll and Notley Young, before me one of his Lordships Justices
       of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their respective
       Act and Deed and the Lot of Land thereby bargained and sold to be the Right and Estate of the within
       named John Brice his Heirs and Assigns for ever, according to the true Intent and Meaning of the
       same Writing and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided

       certain Debt as the Sum of five hundred and seventy two pounds and one half pound of Tobacco Costs of
       Suit                           In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my Hand & affixed the seal of the said Provincial
       Court this 2.d Day of September Anno Dom 1771
