212 On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit Received on the Day and Year first within written of and from the within named John Brice the sum of six Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration within mentioned to be by said John Brice paid to us H Rozer Witness Daniel Carroll Notley Young William Sydebotham Chris.r Richmond On the twenty ninth Day of August in the year seventeen hundred and seventy one came the within named Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll and Notley Young, before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their respective Act and Deed and the Lot of Land thereby bargained and sold to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs and Assigns for ever, according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Writing and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Taken before J Hepburn Recorded the 4th Day of September 1771 x.d Mary M.cCullock and Anthony Stewart Executors of By the Provincial Court October Term 1768 David M.cCullock against Judgment rendered for the Plaintiffs in the Capacity aforesaid Thomas Sligh, William Bond & Nathan against the Defendants for as well the Sum of one hundred & Nicholson eighteen Pounds Six Shillings and ten pence Sterling a certain Debt as the Sum of five hundred and seventy two pounds and one half pound of Tobacco Costs of Suit In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my Hand & affixed the seal of the said Provincial Court this 2.d Day of September Anno Dom 1771 L S Test Reverdy Ghiselin Cl On the Back of the aforegoing Judgment was thus endorsed to wit We do hereby assign all our Right, Title and benefit in and to the within Judgment to Nathan Nicholson of Baltimore County as Witness our Hands and Seals this third Day of September Anno Domini 1771 James Dick for Witness Anthony Stewart (Seal) James Dundass Mary M.cCullock (Seal) Recorded the 5th Day of September 1771 |
