162 him them or either of them shall and will warrent and forever Defend by these Presents And Lastly that he the said Charles Carroll and his Heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter make do and execute such further and other reasonable Act and Acts Deed and Deeds for the further Better and more Perfect granting conveying and assuring of all and singular the Premises above mentioned with the Appurtenances unto the said William Buchanan his heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and Behoof of the said William Buchanan as shall be Reasonably Required within seven years from the Date hereof In Witness whereof the said Charles Carroll to these Presents hath set his hand and Day and year first above written Sealed and Delivered Sowell Long Chas Carroll (seal) in Presence of Francis Fairbrother On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit Rec'd the Day and Year first within mentioned of and from the within named William Buchanan the sum of Ninty two pounds five Shillings being the Consideration within mentiond Witness, Sowell Long, Francis Fairbrother Char Carroll Be it Remembered that on the 17th Day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one came Charles Carroll party to the within Deed and acknowledg'd the same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premises therein mention'd to be the Right Title and Estate of the said William Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and meaning thereof Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Received of M.r William Buchanan the sum of six shillings and ten pence Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore it being the Alienation Money on the within Land by Virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General Recorded this 18th Day of April 1771 John Brice 7¼ sides X.d This Indenture Tripartite made the Fourth of April in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and seventy one Between Hugh Eccleston of Dorchester County Planter and Elizabeth his wife Joseph Ennalls Junior of same County Planter and Mary his wife of the first Part Robert Harrison of same County Gentleman of the second part and John Murray Attorney at Law of the third Part Witnesseth that the said Hugh Eccleston and Elizabeth his wife Joseph Ennalls Jun.r and Mary his wife for the Docking Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail and remainders over of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned &c And in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current Money of Maryland to them in hand paid by the said Robert Harrison the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for divers other good Causes and Considerations them the said Hugh Eccleston and Elizabeth his wife and Joseph Ennalls Jun.r and Mary his wife thereunto moving Have granted bargained and Sold, aliened Released enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Do grant bargain and Sell alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Robert Harrison his Heirs and Assigns All the Tracts parts of Tracts and Parcels of Land following that is to say part of a Tract of Land it being a resurvey called Good luck and Part of a Tract of Land not lying in said Resurvey called Clark's range contained within the ^Meets^ Bounds and Discriptions following, to wit, lying and being in the County aforesaid and on the West side of Transquakin River Beginning at a marked Gum Tree being (the) |
