137 Years of Age; One Negro Woman Slave named Nell about twenty six Years One Negro Woman Slave Named Grace about Eighteen years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Phillis about Eleven Years of Age One Negro Boy Slave named Bob about Ten years of Age One Negro Girl Slave named Hannah about Eight years of Age, One negro Girl Slave named Mary about Seven Years of Age, One negro Boy Slave named Jem about three Years of Age, One Negro Girl Slave named Jean about four Years of Age, and also one Bay Schooner called the Skipton with all her Tackle and Furniture and all and every the Goods and Chattels in two Schedules hereunto annexed which are Subscribed by the parties to this Deed To have and To hold all and singular the Lands, Negroes, Schooner, Tackle Furniture and Goods and Chattels in the Schedules aforesaid hereunto annexed unto the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine his Heirs and Assigns forever to his and their only use and benefit And the said Francis doth hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine his Heirs and Assigns that it shall and may be Lawful for him the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine to enter into the said Lands and as well possess himself of all the Crop of Tobacco made last year and is now on hand as of all the Copt of every kind to be made this Present Year and sell and dispose of the same towards payment and discharge of the Judgment aforesaid and to take and receive the profits of the said Lands in every Subsequent year to the same end and purpose and that the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine shall and may possess himself of all and every of the Negroes Schooner and Goods and Chattels aforesaid in the annexed Scheduled and the same or so much thereof as may be necessary Sell and dispose of towards Satisfaction of the Judgment aforesaid and fully indemnifying the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine against any Injury that he may sustain in consequence of his Engagement thereto relating and the aforesaid Francis Baker for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby further Covenant to and with the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine his Heirs Executors and Administrators that it shall and may be lawful to and for the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine his Heirs Executors or Administrators to enter into all and every of the said Tracts and Parcels of Land and the same or any part thereof sell and dispose of for and towards the indemnification of the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine his Heirs Executors and Administrators against any Injury that he or they may suffer by means of his aforementioned engagement and that he the said Francis Baker will by Deed or Deeds of Bargain and Sale convey and Confirm the same to the Purchaser or Purchasers thereof Provided always that after the said Judgment is fully discharged and the said James compleatly made whole for any Injury that he may sustain by means of his engaging the satisfaction of the said Judgment and after the said James Lloyd Chamberlaine shall be fully paid for his Trouble and Expence in procuring his compleat indemnity against his Engagement aforesaid and also all the Expence of making and recording this Deed that this Deed and every Clause and Covenant therein shall thereafter become void In Witness whereof the parties aforesaid have hereunto Interchangeable set their Hands and seals in the Day and Year aforesaid Sealed and Delivered N.B. the word man between the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Fr.s Baker (seal) in presence of lines from the top where interlined before Execution W.m Hayward hereof and the word forever between the twenty seventh and twenty Eighth lines from the top was ^also^ interlined before Execution |
