124 in the Province of aforesaid Viz.t Benjamin's first begining and Benjamins Second Begining a Begining of Benjamins first Begining at the end of the one hundred and third Line of a Tract of Land called the Cow Pasture and Runing thence agreable to Patent Containing thirty Acres of Land Begining for Benjamins Second Begining at the Begining at the Begining of a Tract of Land the Cow Pasture and Runing thence agreable to Patent Containing eighty Acres of Land which two Tracts or Parcels of Land Contain in y.e whole one hundred and Ten Acres more or less Togeather with all and Singular the Premisses with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the aforesaid Two Tracts or Parcels of Land & premises with their and Every of their Appurtenances and to the only proper Use and Behoofe of him the aforesaid Orlando Griffith his Heirs and Assigns forever and for no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever and he the said Benjamin Griffith the above said two Tracts or parcels of Land doth warrant and forever Defend unto him the aforesaid Orlando Griffith his heirs and Assigns forever Against all manner of persons whatever Claiming by from or under him the aforesaid Benjamin Griffith and further that he the said Benjamin Griffith his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and will at the request of him the aforesaid Orlando Griffith his Heirs and Assigns forever make do Suffer Acknowledge and Execute any other or further Act or Acts, Thing or Things, Assurance or Assurances in the Law whatever that shall be by him the said Orlando Griffith his Heirs or Assigns his or their Council Learned in the Law Reasonably advised or required for the Better and more Shure making the said Bargain'd Land and Premises unto him the said Orlando Griffith his heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof the said Benjamin Griffith hath hereunto Set his hand and fix.d his Seal the Day and year above written Sealed and Delivered John Burgess Jun.r in presence of Benj.a Griffith (Seal) Basil Burgess On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit, Recvd of Orlando Griffith this 19.th day of September 1770 the Sum of Twenty pound Sterling Money being the Consideration for the within Land and Premises Wittness John Burgess Jun.r Benj.a Griffith Basil Burgess On the 19.th day of September Seventeen hundred Seventy Came the within Named Benjamin Griffith before us the Subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices of Ann Arundell County and acknowledge the within Deed and Premises therein Contain'd to be the Right and Estate of the within Named Orlando Griffith his Heirs and Assigns forever and at the same Time came Mary the wife of the above said Benj.a Griffith who being privately Examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband willingly Releas'd all claim of Dower to the within Land and Premises and Declared She did it freely of her own will and not for fear of any Threats or the Displeasure of her said Husband John Burgess Jun.r Recorded this 14th of March 1771 6½ sides Basil Burgess |
