(84) the said James Chalmers his Executors Admrs or Assigns the said Sum of Two hundred & fifty pounds Current Money in Dollars at Seven Shillings & six pence each or pistoles at twenty Seven Shillings each with Legal Interest for the same as aforementioned after the Expiration of Three Months at the time herein mentioned or appointed for payment thereof according to the true Intent and Meaning of these Presents And That he the said Samuel Seeds and all other Persons lawfully having or claiming from him any Estate or Interest in the said hereby assigned Premisses shall & will at any Time hereafter at the reasonable Request, Costs & Charges of the said James Chalmers his heirs exors admrs & assigns make & Execute all such further assurance of the same Premisses unto the said James Chalmers his Exors Admrs & Assigns for all the then Residue of the said Termes by him or them or his or their Counsel learned in the law Shall be reasonably desired or requised In Witness whereof the said Samuel Seeds hath Set his hand & affixed his Seal the Day & year first within writtin Signed Sealed & Delivered before S Chase Samuel Seeds (Seal) Sanders Baldwin On the back of the aforegoing Deed or mortgage was thus Written viz.t April 21.st 1766 Then received of the within named James Chalmers the sum of Two hundred & fifty pounds Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me Witness witness my Hand S Chase Sanders Baldwin Samuel Seeds On the 21.st Day of April 1766 came Samuel Seeds party to the within Deed before me the Subscriber one of the right honourable the Lord Proprietary of this province his Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the same to be his Act & Deed & the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be Right Title & Estate of the same James Chalmers according to the true intent & meaning of the same Deed & the Act of Assembly in Such Case made & provided 9½ Sides Recorded 12.th May 1766 Geo Steuart Ex.d This Indenture made this Nineteenth Day of April Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Sixty Six Between Sewell Young of Baltimore County Planter of the one Part & Edward Dorsey son of John of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Merchant on the other part Witnesseth that for & in Consideration of the sum of one hundred & Twenty Seven pounds Current Money to him in hand paid at and before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents by said Edward Dorsey the Receipt whereof he the said Sewel Young doth hereby Acknowledge & himself therewith fully Satisfy'd Contented & paid & thereof & therefrom & from Every (Part) |
