738 Compound conclude and Agree by Arbitration or otherwise as his said attorney shall think fitt And Generally in and concerning the Premises to do perform and Execute all and whatsoever shall be requisite and Necessary as fully Amply and Effectually to all Intents Constructions and Purposes as he the said Constituent might or could do if Personally present With Power to Substitute one or more Attorneys under him with like or limited power and the same again to revoke He the said William Black hereby Rattifying confirming and holding for good and Valid all and whatsoever the said Stephen West or his Substitute or Substitutes shall lawfully do or cause to be done in or about the Premises by Virtue of these Presents Thus Done and passed in London aforesaid in the Presence of the Underwritten Witnesses Sealed and Delivered (being Will.m Black (seal) first duly Stampt) in the presence of Jn.o Hobson In Præmissorum fidem Jeremiah Belt L S Will Tudman Not.s Pub.s 1767 At the foot of the aforegoing Power of Attorney was as follows Viz.t Maryland Prince Georges County November 29 1769 Then came Jeremiah Belt one the Subscribing Witnesses to the above Power of Attorney before us the Subscribers two of the Majestrates for Prince Georges County and made Oath that he saw William Black of London Merchant Sign Seale and deliver the above Power of Attorney and that ^he^ this deponent 6¼ Sides and John Hobson the other Subscribing Witness were Present at the time of his the said William Black Signing and Sealing the same and John Hobson Subscribed his Name also as a Witness with this Deponent Sworn before us Jn.o Cooke Recorded 30.th April 1770 Geo.e Fraser Hawkins X.d On the Twenty first day of December in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Before me William Tudman Notary & Tabellion Publick Dwelling in London duly Admitted and Sworn and Witnesses Personally Appeared William Black of London Merchant Who Declared to have made ordained constituted Authorized and appointed and by these Presents Doth make ordain constitute authorize and appoint Stephen West of Upper Marlbrough in the Province of Maryland Merchant his true and lawfull Attorney Giving and hereby granting unto his said Attorney full Power and Lawfull Authority for him the said Constituent in his Name and for his use to grant bargain sell and dispose of all and every or any the Lands Houses Plantations or Estates which of Right belong or in any wise Appertain to him the said Constituent Situate lying and being in the said Province of Maryland or in the Colony of Virginia (Save & Except a certain parcel of Land Plantation or Estate called or known by the Name of Black Acre Situate lying and being near the Sugar (Loaf) |
