693 X.d This Indenture made this tenth day of April in the Year of our Lord Seventeen Hundred and Seventy Between Benedict Swope and Samuel Owings Jun.r of Baltimore County on the one part and Peter Myers of Frederick County on the other part Whereas the said Peter Myers did by his Deed of Mortgage in Consideration of the sum of Ninety Pounds Sterling convey and make over unto the said Benedict Swope and Samuel Owings and to their Heirs all that part or parcel of Land called Cool Spring lying in Frederick County with a Proviso therein contained that the said Deed should be void on the Payment of the above Sum of Ninety Pounds Sterling to them the said Benedict Swope and Samuel Owings Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Benedict Swope and Samuel Owings for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ninety Pounds Sterling to them in hand paid by the said Peter Myers the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge Have granted bargained sold released and for ever quitted Claim and by these Presents Do grant bargain sell release and for ever quit Claim unto him the said Peter Myers and his Heirs all their Title Right Interest Claim and Equity of Redemption whatever of in or to the said Tract or Parcel of Land and of in or to every part & parcel thereof In Witness whereof the said Benedict Swope and Samuel Owings have hereto set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered in Presence of Nicholas Orrick Benedict Swope (Seal) Thomas Owings Sam.l Owings Jun.r (Seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received the Day of the Date of the within Indenture from the within £ s d mentioned Peter Myers the Sum of Ninety Pounds Sterling being 90 0 0 the Consideration Money within mentioned to be paid Test Thomas Owings Received by us Benedict Swope 27 Sides Sam.l Owings Jun.r Recorded 10.th April 1770 X.d This Indenture made the second day of Aprill in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Samuel Owings Jun.r of Baltimore County and Province of Maryland of the one part and Stephen Wible of Frederick County and said Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Owings Jun.r for and in Consideration of the sum of Eighty five Pounds Currant Money to him in hand paid by the said Stephen Wible the receipt of which the said Samuel Owings Jun.r doth hereby acknowledge and himself to be therewith fully Sattisfy'd Contented and paid Hath given granted bargained Sold Aliend Enfeoffed and Confirm'd and by these Presents doth give grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Stephen Wible his Heirs and Assigns forever all that part of a Tract or Parcel of Land called the Resurvey on Owings Chance lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid which is Contain'd within the following Metes & Bounds Courses and Distances Viz.t Begining for the part hereby Bargain'd and Sold at the end of Ninety four Perches on the North Thirty seven East Three hundred and fourteen perch Line of Brices Land called the Exchange and runing thence South Twenty four East one Hundred and fifty five Perches North one perch North Thirty five East one Hundred and thirty three Perches North Sixty two East Sixteen Perches North Eighteen Perches (North) |
