635. said George Brown together with the Appurtenances thereof and that either by Public Vendue or Auction or by private Bargain and Transaction as his said Attorney should think Expedient And for the said George Brown and in his Name to Sign Seal and Deliver to the Purchaser or Purchasers of the said Subject all and all manner of Deeds of Vendition and Alienation for Effectually devesting him of the Premisses and investing and Conveying the same in and to the Person of the Purchaser or Purchasers as by the same Power of Attorney Reference being thereto had may more fully and at Large appear And Whereas the same Thomas Lawson as Attorney as aforesaid in the aforesaid Letter of Attorney of the said George Brown hath Agreed to and with the said Charles Woolford for the Sale and Purchase of one undivided Moiety or half part of the Several Tracts of Land aforesaid for and in Consideration of the Sum of Nine Hundred and Seventy five Pounds Maryland Currency Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said George Brown for and in Consideration of the ^said^ Sum of Nine hundred and Seventy five pounds Maryland Currency aforesaid to the said George Brown in hand paid by the said Charles Woolford at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath granted bargained and sold aliend released and confirmed and by these Presents doth fully freely and Absolutely grant bargain and sell Alien release and confirm unto the said Charles Woolford his Heirs and Assigns one undivided Moiety or half part of the said Three Tracts or parcels of Land and the Appurtenances thereto belonging and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents Issues and profits of the said Premisses and every part and parcel thereof and all the Estate Right Title and Interest Use Trust property Claim & Demand Whatsoever both in Law and Equity of him the said George Brown of into or out of the said Premises with the Appurtenances To Have and to Hold all & Singular the Premisses hereby granted bargained and Sold or intended so to be with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said Charles Woolford his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Charles Woolford his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other use Intent or purpose Whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered by the same Thomas Lawson for and in the Name of the aforesaid George Brown George Brown (seal) in Presence of us Sam.l Wilson William Steuart On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received this fifth day of December Seventeen Hundred and sixty nine of the within Named Charles Woolford Nine Hundred and seventy five pounds Maryland Currency being the Consideration Money within mentioned Test Sam.l Wilson Tho.s Lawson for George Brown William Steuart |
