       Monies Tobacco or other Effects as shall be received on any of the Accounts
       aforesaid arising from Our Land Office, or from our Manor and other Rents
       and Fines and all other our Property to be Collected by him the Nett Sum of
       Five Hundred Pounds Lawfull Money of Great Britain per Annum or a
       proportionable part of the same sum according to the Time of his Holding and
       Exercising the said Office of Chief Agent Excheator and Receiver General
       aforesaid as a full Recompence for and in Satisfaction and Discharge of all
       Commission Salary and other Fee and reward whatsoever for such his Care and
       Pains in the Premisses and all Services relating thereto   Provided always
       and it is the true Intent & meaning of these Presents that Notwithstanding
       any thing herein before Contained the said John Morton Jordan Esq.r shall
       from Time to Time and at all Times obey Execute and Perform such Rules
       and Orders for his Conduct in the Premisses as he shall receive from us
       Our Lieutenant Governor or Board of Officers appointed by our Instructions
       Bearing Date the 22.d day of March 1766.  And We do hereby Revoke
       Annul and make void all former and other Commissions, Powers and
       Authorities touching the Premisses by Us, Our Guardians, or Predecessors
       this Our Commission and the Powers herein Granted are to Continue during
       Our Pleasure   Witness Our Trusty and well beloved Robert Eden Esq.r
       Lieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief in and over our said Province
       this 30.th Day of November in the Nineteenth Year of our Dominion
       Anno Domini 1769

       Jordan Daniel Dulany and Charles Carroll Barister at Law all of the City of
       Annapolis in the Province aforesaid Esquires are held and firmly bound
       unto the Right Honourable Frederick Absolute Lord and Proprietary of
       the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore &.c
       in Ten Thousand Pounds Sterling to be paid to the said Lord Proprietary
       his Executors Administrators and Assignes to the which Payment well
       and truly to be made We bind Ourselves and each of us Our and every of
       Our Heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally in the whole
       and for the whole firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals and
       Dated this Second day of December in the Year of our Lord seventeen
       Hundred and sixty nine               Whereas the above bound John Morton
       Jordan Esq.r by Commission bearing Date the Thirtieth day of November
       Seventeen Hundred and sixty nine is constituted and Appointed Chief
       Agent Escheator and Receiver General for the Right Honourable
