618 Brown his heirs and Assigns forever and to and fer no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties to this Indenture have interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their respective seals the Day and Year first above written Marg.t Brown (Seal) Signed sealed & Delivered G R Brown (Seal) in the Presence of T.s Stone (Seal) Daniel Stone Bexley Davis Memorandum September the 28.th in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and sixty nine the above named Margaret Brown and Gustavus Richard Brown after sealing and Delivering the above Deed did by actual Delivery of twigg and Turf invest and Enfeoff the above named Thomas Stone of in & into the Possession and seisin of the above mentioned tract or parcell of Land Called Middleton with it's Appurtenances to be held by the said Thomas Stone according to the intent and meaning of the Above Deed This done the said Thomas Stone being present before Daniel Stone Bexley Davis On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit Charles County fs On the twenty third Day of October in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty nine came the within named Margarett Brown and Gustavus Richard Brown before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for Charles County and Severally Acknowledged the within Instrument and Indenture to be their act and Deed and the within bargained and sold Premises to be the Property right and Estate of the within Named Thomas Stone his heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning of the said Indenture and to the Act of Assembly in such Case Providing Tho.s Stone Recorded 26.th October 1769 Jo H Harrison Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty seventh Day of October in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis and County of Ann Arundel the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Edward Mitchell of Charles Town in the County of Cæcil and Province aforesaid Gentleman of the other Part Whereas a certain Henry Baker and Nathan Baker by their Indenture bearing the third Day of April in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty nine for and in Consideration of the sum of three hundred Pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to them paid by the said Charles Carroll did bargain and Sell to him the said Charles Carroll all that Messuage or tract of Land Called Clay & all situate lying and being (in) |
