(612) Received on the Day and year first within written of and from the within named Robert Lawson the Sum of Five Shillings Current Money being the consideration Money within within mentioned to be by him paid to me Witness Luke Marbury Received by me Maximillian Mathews On the twenty fourth Day of October 1769 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named John Rogers Robert Lawson and Maximillian Mathews and Severally acknowledged the within Deed to be their respective act and Deed to and for the uses intents and purposes within mentioned and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Robert Lawson his heirs and Assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed and the act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided 7 Sides Before Geo Steuart Recorded the 24.th October 1769 Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty third Day of August in the year of our Lord Seventeen 5 Sides hundred and Sixty nine Between Thomas Jones of Frederick County Planter and Daniel Stephenson of Prince Georges County Merchant of the one Part and Daniel Dulany junior on the other part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Jones and Daniel Stephenson for and in Consideration of the Sum Five Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by the said Daniel Dulany junior at and before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have Granted Bargained and sold And by these Presents Do grant bargain and sell unto him the said Daniel Dulany junior his Executors Administrators & Assigns all that tract or parcel of Land Called Waugh Town beginning at a spanish Oak standing by a Small Branch it being the North East Corner tree of Cuckolds Delight runing south with the said Land three hundred and twenty Perches to a bounded Oak it being the south west Corner Tree of the said Land and the Land of Benjamin Haddock and runing thence with the Lands of the said Haddock East north East two hundred and Sixty eight perches to an Oak thence north three hundred and twenty Perches to marked Hickory thence south west two hundred and Sixty eight Perches to the first bound tree Containing four hundred & ninety two Acres of Land more or less together with all Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchards ways waters Water Courses Commodities Priviledges Improvements Emoluments Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the same Tract or parcell of Land belonging or Appertaining and the reversion and reversions Remainder and Remainders rents issues and profits thereof or any part or parcel thereof To have and to hold the said Tract or parcell of Land and all and singular the premises with its rights members and Appurtenances unto the said Daniel Dulany junior his Executors Administrators & Assigns from the Day next before the Day of the Date of these Presents for and (during) |
