(607) Act and Deed to and for the uses Intents and Purposes within mentioned and the Land and Premises therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named William Nelson his heirs and Assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed and the act of Assembly in Such Cases made & Provided Before Geo Steuart 5 Sides Recorded the 18.th Day of October 1769 This Indenture Tripartite made this thirteenth Day of October in the year Seventeen hundred & sides Sixty nine Between Jeremiah Edwards of Saint Marys County Planter of the one Part Joseph Williams of the same County Planter of the second Part and Susannah Thomson of the same County Widow of the third part Witnesseth that the said Susannah Thomson for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred Pounds Current Money to her in hand Paid by Joseph Williams at and before the ensealing and deliver of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for the Docking Barring and extinguishing all Estates tail and ^all^ Reversions and Remainders thereupon Expectant or depending of and in the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments herein after mentioned he the said Susannah Thomson by and with the Advice and Consent of the said Jeremiah Edwards testified by his being a party to and his Sealing & Executing these presents Hath Given Granted bargained Sold aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Give Grant Bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Joseph Williams his heirs & Assigns all that part of a Tract or parcell of Plantable Land Called Nun's Oak lying & being in Saint Marys County aforesaid Containing Seventy five Acres which was heretofore devised by a Certain John Fossee to his Daughter Teresa Fosses in Tail Together with all & Singular the Houses Outhouses Edifices Buildings Gardens Ways Waters Water courses Commidities Privileges and Advantages to the same Land belonging or appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders Rents issues and Profits thereof and of every part and Parcel thereof and also all the Estate right title Interest use trust profit Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of her the said Susannah Thomson of in & to the aforesaid Land hereby Bargained and Sold and Every Part thereof To have and to hold the said Land hereby Bargained and sold and every part and Parcell thereof and Premises with the Appurtinances to him the said Joseph Williams his heirs and Assigns to the intent and Purpose that the said Joseph Williams may be and become Perfect Tenant of the Freehold and Inheritance of the said Premises that a Common Recovery may be had and suffered against him in such manner as is hereafter mentioned and for that Purpose is it hereby Covenanted granted and agreed by and between all the said Parties to these presents that before the end of the next Provincial Court one or more writ or writs of Entry sur disseisin enlepost at the Costs and Charges of him the said Joseph Williams shall and may be brought and Prosecuted against him the said Joseph Williams in the (name of) |
