(594) discounting and deducting the payment made on the said Bond which have been Applied in the first place to or towards ^the^ Satisfaction of the interest which had arose on the said Bond Witnessed that the same John Hammond Dorsey by every of further and Additional Security for the said Sum of Two Thousand and Seventeen Pounds five Shillings and eleven pence Sterling Money so as aforesaid due and owing on the said Bond and not by way of or as Payment Satisfaction or discharge of the said last mentioned Sum of Money or the Bond aforesaid and for and in Consideration of the sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money by him the said John Buchanan to him the said John Hammond Dorsey in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivery of the said Indenture the receipt whereof the same John Hammond Dorsey did thereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom did acquit exonerate and discharge the aforesaid John Buchanan his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them had given granted bargain sold aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed and thereby did give grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto the same John Buchanan his heirs and Assigns forever Three several tracts of Land and Also part of a tract of Land all Lying and being (or so specified by the Same Deed Indented) in Baltimore County to wit Success containing Three hundred and Seventy five Acres of Land more or less The Biters Bitt Containing twenty Seven acres more or less Goodluck Containing One hundred Acres more or less and part of a tract of Land called the three Sisters Adjoining to Goodluck and Containing Two hundred Acres more or less together with all Houses Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Water Courses Timber Timber Trees Woods under Woods Previledges Improvements Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said three tracts and the aforesaid Part of the tract of Land aforesaid belonging ^or^ in any wise appertaining And the reversion and Reversions remainder and remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every Part and Parcell thereof and all the Estate right title interest use trust property Possession Claim & Demand whatsoever of him the said John Hammond Dorsey of in or to the said Three tracts and the aforesaid Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid and every of them with their and each of their Appurtenances and that ^he^ the said John Hammond Dorsey for the Purpose before expressed and in Consideration of the therein before mentioned Sum of Five Shillings Sterling had also given granted bargained sold and transferred and thereby did give grant bargain sell and transfer unto him the same John Buchanan his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns the twelve following negro Slaves of him the said John Hammond Dorsey then being in his Possession to wit Toby Sam James, Jack, Glasgow, Isaac Phill ^James^ Hannah Phebe, Rute and Jacob with the Increase of those of the said Slaves who were Females To have & to hold the said Bargained and Sold Three Tracts of Land and part of the aforesaid other tract of Land with their and each and every of their rights members and Appurtenances to him the same (John) |
