(560) Ex.d This Indenture made this first Day of April One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Nine Between John Moore of Kent County planter of the one part and William Paca of the City of Annapolis Attorney of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Moore for 4 Sides and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money in Hand paid by the said William Paca at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and Sell unto the said William Paca all those two Several Tracts or parcels of Lands lying and being in Calvert County that is to say One Tract or parcel of Land called Major's Choice containing five hundred Acres One Other Tract called Upper Bennett Containing four hundred and thirty Seven Acres with all and every the Buildings Edifices Fences Improvments and Advantages Whatsoever thereon or on any or either of them erected or built Situate lying or being or to or with them or any or either of them Uses Occupied enjoyed or belonging with their and every of their appurtenances and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and profitts thereof and of every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the aforesaid Several Tracts or parcels of Land and all and Singular their premisses with their and every of their Rights and Appurtenances unto the aforesaid William Paca his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Day next before the day of the date of these presents for and during and Untill the full End and Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing full to be Compleat and Ended to the Intent and Purpose that by force and virtue of these presents and of the Statute for transferring uses into possession the said William Paca may be in the actual possession of the premisses and be thereby enabled to take and accept a Grant and release or Bargain Sale of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs to such Uses and Purposes as shall be thereby declared In Witness whereof the parties hereto have interchangeable Affixed their Hands ^&^ Seals the Day and year above written Sealed and delivered upon the Joseph Blake John Moore (Seal) Lands aforesaid in Presence of John Mackall Jun.r Leonard Prindowell Recorded the 23.d day of May 1769 Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite Made this third Day of April Seventeen hundred and 10½ Sides Sixty nine Between John Moore of Kent County planter and Cassandra his Wife of the one part William Paca of the City of Annapolis Attorney of the Second part and George Chalmers of the said City of the third part Witnesseth that the said John Moore and Cassandra his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money in Hand by the said William Paca the receipt whereof the said John Moore and Elizabeth his Wife doth hereby Acknowledge have and each of them hath remised released and Confirmed and by these presents do and each of them doth remise release and Confirm unto him the said William Paca in his Actual possession now being by Virtue of an Indenture of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made by him the said John Moore bearing date the first Day of April Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine for one whole year from the Day next before the Date of the said Indenture and by Force of the Statute for transferring Uses into possession) his heirs and Assigns all these two Several Tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in Calvert County the one called Majors Choice Containing five hundred acres the other called Upper Bennett Containing four hundred and thirty Seven Acres with all and every the Buildings Edifices Fences Improvements and Advantages Whatsoever thereon or on any or either of them erected or built Situate lying or being or to or with them or any or either of them used occupied enjoyed or belonging with their and every of their Appurtenances and the reversion reversions remainder and remainders rents Issues and profitts thereof and of every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the aforesaid Several Tracts or parcels of Land and all and Singular the premisses with their and every of their Rights and Appurtenances unto the said William Paca his heirs and assigns to the intent and purpose that the said William Paca may be (and) |
