(527) to the Only Use & Behoof of him the said John Worthington Warfield his heirs & Assigns forever and to and for no Other Use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever and the said Lacon Dorsey for himself and his Heirs Doth Covenant Promise & Agree to & with the said John Worthington Warfield his Heirs & Assigns forever that he the said Lacon Dorsey and his Heirs shall & Will from time to time and at all times forever hereafter Warrant and defend the aforesaid Land and Premises with its Appurtinances unto him the said John Worthington Warfield his Heirs & Assigns against all Manner of Persons Claiming or to Claim any Right Title Property or Interest of in or to the aforesaid Land and Premises or any Part or Parcel thereof and the said Lacon Dorsey Doth for himself and his heirs Further Covenant Grant and Agree to & with the said John Worthington Warfield his heirs and Assigns that he the said Lacon Dorsey & his Heirs shall and will from time to time and at all times forever hereafter Doe make Acknowledge and Execute or Cause to be made Done Acknowledged & Executed all and Every Such further Act or Acts Deeds Conveyances or Assurances in the Law as by the said John Worthington Warfield his Heirs or Assigns or his or their Councel Learn'd in the Law shall be from time to time Reasonably Devised or advised for the further Surety & Sure Making of all & Singular the Premises hereby Bargained and Sold or hereby Intended to be Bargained & Sold According to the True Intent & Meaning of these Presents In Wittness whereof the Parties to these Presents hath hereunto Set their Hands & Affixed their Seals the Day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered Lacon Dorsey (Seal) in Presence of Basil Williams (Seal) Tho.s Prather Evan Shelby Phebe Williams (Seal) (the word presents ^between^ the thirty) (fourth & fifth Line being ) (first Interlined ) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed to wit Received 6.th of March 1769 of John Worthington Warfield the Sum of One Ster.g Hundred and forty Seven Pounds ten Shillings Sterling being the Consideration £ s Expressed in the within Deed 147 10 Tho.s Prather Lacon Dorsey Evan Shelby Basil Williams Phebe Williams Be it Remembered that on the Sixt day of March 1769 Came before us two of his Lordship's Justices of Frederick County Court the within Named Lacon Dorsey Basil Williams & Phebe his Wife and Severaly Acknowledged the ^within^ Instrument to be their (Act) |
