(509) or any of them do and shall well and truly Pay or cause to be Paid unto the said Richard Neave his Executors Administrators and Assigns the just and full Sum of One Thousand Eight Hundred and twenty five Pounds four Shillings and Eight Pence together with Lawful Interest for the same on the days and Times and in the Manner herein before Appointed for Payment thereof according to the Condition of the said recited Obligation without any Fraud or further Delay and without any Defalcation or Abatement for or by reason of any Taxes Charges or Assessments Whatsoever that then this Present Indenture and the Estate or Estates hereby Granted Together with the said recited Bond or Writing Obligatory Shall Cease Determine and become Utterly Void and of none Effect any thing herein Contained to the Contrary thereof in any wise Notwithstanding In Witness whereof the said Abraham Mitchell and Sarah his Wife have hereunto Set their Hands and Seals Dated the day and year first within written Sealed and Delivered Abraham Mitchell (Seal) in the Presence of by Sarah Mitchel (Seal) Abraham Mitchel Al.t Mackrat Jo.s Galloway On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed Viz.t Philad.a County to wit Be it Remembered that upon the Eighth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Eight before me Thomas William Esquire one of the Judges of the Supreme Court for the Province of Pennsylvania Personally appeared the within Named Abraham Mitchell and Sarah his Wife & did acknowledge the within Indenture to be their Act and Deed and the said Sarah being by me examined in Private & out of the hearing of her said Husband & the Contents thereof being made known unto her did then declare that She Executed and Acknowledged the same Deed Willingly & freely & Without any Compulsion of her said Husband a desired the same may be recorded as such Sealed and Delivered Tho.s Willing by Sarah Mitchel in the Presence of Jo.s Galloway Abel Evans Recorded 22.d day of February 1769 Ex.d This Indenture Made the twenty third Day of January in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Nine Between Sarah Brice of the City of Annapolis Widow Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of (John) |
