(455) Covenant and agree to and with the said Mordecai Gist his heirs and Assigns that he the said Thomas Gist his heirs Execr.s and Admr.s shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter at the request cost and Charges of said Mordecai Gist or his heirs make do Acknowledge and Execute any other Indenture Deed or Instrument of Writing for the further & better and more Perfect and Effectual Conveying and Assuring the beforementioned Parcell of Land and Premisses with all their Appurtenances unto the said Mordecai Gist his heirs Exer.s and Assigns In Witness whereof the said Thomas Gist hath hereunto sett his hand and Seale the day and year above Written Sign'd Sealed and Delivered Tho.s Gist (Seal) in Presence of Will.m Aisquith Christ.o Carnan On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed to wit Rec.d Sept.r 26.th 1768 of Mordecai Gist the Sum of Ten Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration Within Mentioned p me Tho.s Gist Test Will.m Aisquith On the 26.th day of Sept.r 1768 Came the Within Mentioned Thomas Gist before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and Acknowledg'd the within Deed to be his Act and the Parcell of Land thereby Bargain'd and Sold to be the right Title Property and Estate of the within Named Mordecai Gist his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of said Deed Will.m Aisquith NRuxton Gay I have received the Sum of Three Shillings and two Pence farthing Ster.g for Alienation fine on the within recorded the 25.th day of October 1768 Land October the 25.th 1768 Bennet Allen Examd This Indenture Made the first Day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight Between Samuel Lee of Baltimore County Planter of the one Part and William Paca of Ann Arundel County Attorney of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Samuel for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money by the said William Paca to him in hand Paid at or before the Ensealing or Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth hereby Release Acquit and discharge the said William Paca his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns hath Bargained and Sold unto the said William Paca his Executors Administrators and Assigns and by these Presents doth Bargain and Sell unto the said William Paca his Executors Administrators and Assigns all that Eastenmost Moiety of half Part of a Tract of Land Called Jerico divided from the West Part of the said land by a Line drawn North and South through the Middle of the said Tract Containing five Hundred Acres of Land More or Less by together with all Messuages Edifices Buildings Gardens Orchyards ways Waters Water Courses Commodities Privileges Improvements Emoluments Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Moiety or half Part of the said Tract of Land belonging or in any ways Appurtaining and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of Every Part (and) |
