(446) As his or their Counsil Learned in the Law Shall at any time Reasonably Require for the further and Better Ashureance Securety or shure Making of all and Singular the Lands and Primesses hereby Bargained and Sold or intended to be hereby Bargained and Sold In Witness whereof the said John Sewell hath Set his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and year above Written in Preseants of his Jn.o Mathews John I Sewell (Seal) Richard Yeates Mark Note that the words by the aforesaid Benjamin Talbott Between the fifth and Sixth Line and Likewise the words from by or under him the said John Sewell or his heirs ware inter Lined befor Signed and Sealed and Acknowledged the Letter being Between the twenty first and twenty Second Line On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed to Wit On the Sixteenth day of September One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty eight Came John Sewell before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Baltimore County and Province of Maryland and Acknowledged the within Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the within Mentioned Lands and Primesses to be the Right and Estate of the within Mentioned Benjamin Talbott his heirs or Assigns for ever taken and Acknowledged before us Jn.o Mathews John Harris Received September Sixteenth one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Eight of Benjamin Talbott the Sum of Sixty Pounds Current Money it being the Consideration Expressed for the within Deed Witness his John Harris John E Sewell Mark I have Received the Sum of Eight Shillings Ster.g it being the Alienation fine on the within Land Bennet Allen October 5.th 1768 Recorded the 5.th of October 1768 x.d This Indenture Made this Seventh Day of September in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight Between Robert Bromwell of Dorchester County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Thomas Linthicum of Ann arundel County and Province aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Robert Bromwell for and in Consideration of the Sum of Six Hundred Pounds Current Money in Dollars at Seven Shillings and Six Pence Each and Pistoles at Twenty Seven Shillings Each to him in hand Paid by the said Thomas Linthecum the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of Every Part and Parcel thereof do Acquit and Discharge the said Thomas Linthecum his Executors and Administrators forever by these presents hath given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened released Enffeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Thomas Linthecum his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract or Parcel of Land Lying in Dorchester County Called (Worcester) |
