(444) Interest be well and truly paid on or before the said first day of August [illegible] that Case Execution for the remaining two thirds to be further Staid to the first day of August Anno Seventeen Hundred and Seventy then if One other full third Part of debt and Interest (being One half of the remaining two thirds) shall be well and truly paid on or before the said first day of August Seventeen hundred and Seventy then And in that Case only Execution to be further Staid for the remaining one third Part of the debt and Interest unto the first day of August Anno Seventeen hundred and Seventy one Including in all three Compleat Inspections for the full Payment of the whole After which if any part remains unpaid the same to be Levied by Execution agreeable to Law without any further respite or delay Whatsoever and if at the Expiration of Each of the Previous terms of Payment above Mentioned the appointed Quotas of Payment are not fully made and compleated it is hereby Expressly understood that Execution may and shall in such Case immediately Issue against the said John Reeder Sen.r and William Killgour agreeable to the Judgement aforesaid for whatever Part may at the time of such failure remain unpaid of the Tobacco debt Interest & Costs aforesaid Now if upon the full and compleat Payment of the aforesaid Judgement unto the said Thomas Campbell & C.o their certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns they the said Thomas Campbell & C.o shall well and truly Pay or cause to be Paid unto the said John Reeder Sen.r and William Kilgour their certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid full and Just Sum of One hundred and fifty four Pounds Six Shillings & Nine pence Sterling in good Bills of Exchange (or in three Equal Payments at the Terms abovement.d for Paying the Tobacco agreeable to the Original Contract if the Tobacco is so paid) with Legal Interest from and after the Twenty Eight day of October Anno Seventeen hundred and Sixty five being the date of Thomas Campbells Bond for this same Sterling Ballance which Thomas Bond is now hereby understood to be Cancelled) then this Obligation to be void Else to remain in full Force and Virtue in Law Hugh Hopewell Thomas Campbell (Seal) Signed Sealed and delivered in Presence of Rob Gilchrist Arch.d Campbell (Seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Indorsed to wit I hereby promise in behalf of Myself and Company that if at any time before the first Stay of Execution within Mentioned is expired the within Named John Reeder Sen.r and William Kilgour shall give good Security for the first Payment within Mentioned independent of the two following Payments in that Case the first Payment of one full third ^of^ Part of the Sterling Money within Mentioned shall be made per Advance with the Legal Interest due on such third part so Paid unto the time of giving such Security as aforesaid and the fast Payment ^of Tob.o^ being fully made and Compleated I further agree for my (Self) |
