(366) On the twenty fifth Day of February in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty eight came the within Named John Worthington son of William and William Worthington son of William before me one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and severally acknowledged the within Deed to be their Acts and the Land and premisses thereby released and confirmed to be the right Title and Estate of the within mentioned John Worthington son of John his Heirs and Assigns for Ever Acknowledged before J B Bordley Recorded the 12.th Day of March 1768 10 Sides Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Between John Worthington son of John of Ann Arundel County in the Province afs.d and John Worthington son of William of Baltimore County and Province aforesaid of the one part and William Worthington son of William of Baltimore County and Province aforesaid of the other part Whereas John Worthington formerly of Ann Arundel County deceased by his Last will and Testament in writing duly proved and Recorded in the Prerogative Court at Annapolis among other Things therein contained did bequeath and devise unto the aforesaid John Worthington son of John of Ann Arundel County William Worthington son of William and John Worthington son fo William both of Baltimore County One thousand and sixty three Acres of Land lying and being in Frederick County in the Province afd commonly called or known by the Name of the Addition to Whiskie Ridge to be Divided between them the said John Worthington son John, John Worthington son William and William Worthington son William who have all Mutually Agreed upon a Division of the said Land between them agreeable to the True intent and meaning of the will aforesaid of John Worthington deceased Now This Indenture therefore Witnesseth that the aforesaid John Worthington son of John and John Worthington son of William as well for and in Consideration of the intent and meaning of the will aforesaid as of the sum of five shillings to them in hand by the said William Worthington son of William the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and themselves to be therewith fully satisfied and Contented Have and by these presents do give grant release and Confirm unto the aforesaid William Worthington son William his heirs and Assigns for Ever All that part of the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land called The Addition to Whiskie Ridge contained within the following Metes and Bounds Courses and distances (viz.t) Beginning at the end of the eighth Course of the Addition of Whiskie Ridge (South) |
