(364) Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Between John Worthington and William Worthington sons of William Worthington late of Baltimore County in the Province affs.d planter Deceas'd and Grand sons of John Worthington late of Ann arundel County in the Province aforesaid Merch.t Deceas'd of the one part and John Worthington of Ann Arundel County aforesaid son of John Worthington aforesaid Deceas'd of the other part Whereas the aforesaid john Worthington Deceas'd by his Last will and Testament in writing duly prov'd and Recorded in the Prerogative Office at Annapolis among other Things therein contained did Bequeath and Devise unto his son John Worthington party hereto John Worthington and William Worthington sons of William Worthington one thousand and sixty three Acres of Land lying and being in Frederick County and Province aforesaid commonly called or known by the name of The Addition to Whiskey Ridge to be Divided between them the said John Worthington son of John, John Worthington son of William and William Worthington son of William in the following manner (viz.t) Three hundred and sixty three Acres of the aforesaid Tract of Land to John Worthington son of John his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And seven hundred Acres of the said Tract of Land to be Equally Divided between the said John Worthington and William Worthington sons of William Worthington their Heirs and Assigns forever And Whereas they the said John Worthington son of John and John Worthington and William Worthington sons of William have Mutually Agreed upon a Division of the said Lands Between them Agreeable to the true Intent and meaning of the aforesaid John Worthington deceased's Last will and Testament Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the aforesaid John Worthington and William Worthington Sons of William Worthington deceased as well for and in Consideration of the intent and meaning of the Will aforesaid as of the Sum of five shillings to them in hand paid by the said John Worthington son of John the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and themselves therewith fully satisfied and contented Have and do by these presents give grant release and confirm unto the aforesaid John Worthington son of John his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that part of the aforesaid Tract or parcell of Land contained within the following Meets and Bounds Courses and distances viz.t Beginning twenty perches from the end of the South thirty Deg.s west seventy eight perch Course and run with the said Course South thirty Degrees west twenty perches then South sixteen Degrees west thirty six perches then South seventy five Degrees west twenty perches then south fifty Degrees (west) |
