(326) said post being affixed by Commissioners to examine evidences concerning the Bounds of Goldsmiths Rest as the first Boundary who likewise bounded a Locust Tree about six feet westward from the said post and runing down and with the said Goose Creek and another Creek called Spesutie Creek as follows to wit East forty seven and a half perches South forty eight Degrees East twenty four perches North sixty eight Degrees west twenty nine perches South sixteen perches South eighty three Degrees west twenty nine perches South thirty six Degrees thirty Minutes west sixty three perches South five Degrees west twenty four perches South forty two Degrees thirty minutes East twenty three perches South twenty two Degrees west fourteen perches South forty one Degrees West forty eight perches south three Degrees thirty Minutes west twenty perches South twelve Degrees East seventy eight perches South fifty seven Degrees thirty Minutes west sixty seven perches still with Spesutie Creek till it Intersects a Line extended East from the second Boundary of the said land hereafter mentioned thence leaving the said Creek and runing west twenty five perches to a bounded Locust post by a piece of low wet Ground descending into a Marsh said post being likewise sett up by the said Commissioners to perpetuate the Memory of the second bounded Tree of Goldsmiths Rest and runing from the last mentioned post west three hundred and forty perches till it intersects the South South West Line of a Tract of Land called Harmers Swanton thence with that Land North North East two hundred and sixty three perches to a bounded Locust post on the Bank near the Bay side said to be the Second Boundary of the said Land called Harmers Swanton thence more North North East two perches to the Bay side thence down and with the Bay South thirty five Degrees thirty Minutes East fifty five perches South forty one Degrees East thirty perches South forty three Degrees East thirty five perches South sixty two Degrees fifteen Minutes East ninety nine perches south thirty five Degrees East twelve perches south twenty Degrees East twenty eight perches into a Marsh at the Extent of a long Point of Woods commonly called Wood Peckers Hall and thence by a streight Line to the Begining Containing Eight hundred and eighty six Acres of Land with all and every the Appurtenances by such Name and Names Number of Acres Quantities Qualities Terms and Descriptions in the said writ (to) |
