(227) and taken and is meant and intended And by all the said Parties to these presents is hereby declared to be and enure And the said Benjamin Rumsey and his heirs from and immediately after suffering the same Shall stand and be seised of all and Singular the said Tenements Lands Hereditaments and Premisses abovementionesd and every part and Parcell thereof with the Appurtenances to and for the only proper use and Behoof of the said John Neide his heirs and assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably put their hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year fist abovementioned Sealed and Delivered Henry VBebber (seal) in the presence of us Jn.o Neide (Seal) Ja Reith Joseph Ensor Benjamin Rumsey (seal) On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written viz.t On this Second Day of April in the Year in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Seven received of John Neide five Shillings in full of the consideration money in the within Deed mentioned by Witness Joseph Ensor, Ja Reith Henry VBebber Be it Remembered that on this 28.th Day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Seven before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices for the Province of Maryland comes the within named Henry Vanbebber in his proper person and Acknowledges the within Indenture to be his act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned and all his Estate Interest Claim and Demand thereto as well in Law as Equity to be the proper Estate Right and Title of him the said John Neide his heirs and assigns forever and desired that the same might be recorded accordingly In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand the Day and Year abovementioned 3½ sides J Hepburn Recorded the 28.th May 1767 Exam.d This Indenture made this Twenty ninth day of May in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven Between Walter Pumphrey of Ann.l County miller of the one part and Charles Hammond Jun.r of the County Af.d Gentleman of the other part witnesseth that the said Walter Pumphery for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seventy pounds current money to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Charles Hammond Jun.r at and upon the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents, the Receipt whereof the said Walter Pumphrey doth hereby Acknowledge and therewith Confess himself to be fully content satisfyed and paid He the said Walter Pumphery as afs.d hath Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and doth hereby Grant Bargain and Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said Charles Hammond |
