Ex.d
       This Indenture made the first Day of September in the year of Lord
       seventeen hundred and sixty six Between John Whips of Ann Arundel County
       Jobber of the one part and Patrick Dunkan of Baltimore County Miller of the
       other part Witnesseth that the said John Whips for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of Fifteen pounds Current Money in Maryland to him in hand
       paid by the said Patrick Dunkan at or before the Ensealing and Delivery
       of These presents the Receit whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Bargained
       and sold and by These Presents doth Bargain and Sell to the said Patrick
       Dunkan and his heirs all That part of a Tract of Land Called Motleys
       Habitation that Shall be Limited within the following Meets and
       Bounds Viz.t Beginning at two white oak Bounded Trees being the beginning
       Trees of a Tract of Land Called Joshuas Gift and Running thence south
       Thirty Six Degrees East Seventy two perches South Thirteen Degrees East
       Twenty four perches South Seventy three Degrees West forty perches North
       fifty Degrees west Thirty four perches and thence by a strait Line to the
       place of Beginning Containing and laid out for Twenty Acres More or
       Less to be held of the Manner of Baltimore with all and Singular the
       Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining and
       Also all the Right Estate Interest Benefit Claim and Demand whatsoever
       of him the said John Whips of in and to all and Singular the premisses To
       Have and to hold the said Parcel of Land and al land singular the
       premisses with the Appurtenances herein before mentioned and intended to be
       hereby Granted to the said Patrick Dunkan his heirs and Assigns for Ever
       to the only proper use and Behoof of the said Patrick Dunkan his heirs and
       assigns for Ever and the said John Whips for himself his ^heirs^ Executors and
       Administrators or assigns doth covenant promise and agree to and with
       the said Patrick Dunkan his heirs Executors administrators or assigns that he
       the said John Whips the said parcel of Land and premisses herein before
       mentioned and intended to be hereby Granted and Every part hereof unto the said
       Patrick Dunkan his heirs and Assigns against him the said John Whips and his
       heirs and all persons claiming by from or under him or them shall and will
       warrant and for ever Defend by these presents and further that the said John
       Whips his heirs and Assigns Shall and will at all times hereafter on the Lawfull
       and Reasonable Request and at the Costs and Charges in the Law of the said
       Patrick Dunkan his heirs and Assigns make do Acknowledge perfect and
       Execute to the said Patrick Dunkan his heirs and assigns all and every such
