(112) Ten pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver General John Davidson 9½ sides Received 24.th July 1766 x.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth day of July in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Six Between William Andrew of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the One Part and Nicholas Maccubbin of the City of Annapolis in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said William Andrew for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five hundred Pounds sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid at or before the ensealing and Delivery hereof by the said Nicholas Maccubbin well and Truly paid the receipt of which the said William Andrew Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of every Part and Parcel thereof Doth Clearly Acquit release and Discharge the said Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them for Ever by these Presents the said William Andrew Doth grant bargain Sell Alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs and assigns for Ever All the Eight Following Tracts or Parcells of Land lying and being in Baltimore County as aforesaid Viz.t The Range and Forrest resurveyed for Bartholomew Millhouse thirteenth day of October Seventeen hundred and Thirty Lying on Salt Peter Creek Containing Three Hundred and Nineteen Acres of Land More or less Bevens Adventure surveyed for Joseph Bevens the fifth day of May Seventeen hundred and Twenty five Beginning at a Bounded white oak Standing on the Side of a Hill Decending into Gravelly run Containing one hundred Acres of Land More or Less Batchellors hope Commonly Called and known by the Name of Dentons Hope which was Resurveyed the Twenty Seventh day of May Sixteen hundred and seventy nine for James Denton lying on Gun powder River Containing three hundred Acres of Land More or Less Salt Petre Neck Surveyed the Nineteenth day of October Sixteen hundred and Seventy Six for James Denton on the Northermost Branch of Gun Powder River on the West side said Branch Containing one hundred Acres of Land more or Less Mulbury Point Surveyed the Twenty first day of December Seventeen hundred and four for John Comwell on the North side Back Gun Powder River, but now Called Birds River Containing Two hundred Acres of Land more or Less (Ebenezers) |
