(106) of her own Accord and without the Threats or thro' Fear of Displeasing of her said Husband Acknowledge the within bargained two Tracts or Parcels of Land and Premisses to be the Right ^Title^ and Estate of the said Henry Green his heirs and Assigns for Ever Acknowledged before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices for Baltimore County NRuxton Gay Will.m Aisquith Received the 23.d July 1766 of M.r Henry Green the sum of Four shillings and two pence Half penny sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the with^in^ Land and by virtue of a Commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General John Davidson Baltimore County to wit I do hereby certify that Nicholas Ruxton L S Gay and William Aisquith Gent before whom the above Acknowledgement and Relinquishment of Dower are certified to have been made are Justices of the Peace of the County of Baltimore af.d duly commissioned and sworn and That Faith is and may be given thereto In Testamony whereof I have hereto set my Hand & seal of office this 21.st Day of July 1766 B Bordley Clk of B Co.ty 8 Sides Recorded the 23.d July 1766 Ex.d This Indenture made this Twenty fourth day of July in the Year of our one Thousand Seven hundred and sixty six Between John Rogers of Prince Georges County in Maryland of the one Part and Mathew Eversfield son of the Reverend John Eversfield of the same County and Province of the Other Part Whereas for the Docking barring and extinguishing all Estates Tail and Reversions or remainder and remainders thereupon expectant or depending of and in the Lands and Appurtenances hereinafter mentioned the said John Rogers as Demandant did heretofore (at the request Costs and Charges of the aforesaid Matthew Eversfield) prosecute and sue forth out of his Lordships High Court of Chancery his said Lordships Writ of Entry sue disseisin en le post against him the said Matthew Eversfield returnable and returned to the Provincial Court at Annapolis on the second Tuesday of April last whereby the said John Rogers did Demand against him the said Matthew Eversfield All those two parts or parcells of Land being parts of two tracts of Land the one called Bear Garden Enlarged the other Deer (Park) |
