(104) or Advice in the Management or Prosecution of our Affairs aforesaid under Your Care and Charge We therefore Enjoin the several Attornies Practitioners and councellors at Law that now are or hereafter Shall be Appointed and allowed of by us or our Govenor and Commander in Chief in and over our said Province or admitted to Practice by the Law thereof to give and impart to you their or any of their Council or Assisstance in any Matter or thing as you shall or may think necessary or requisite for our service Provided such attornies Practitioners and Councillors at Law are not retained against us in such matters as you require their council advice or assisstance in which case and no other they are to be Dispensed and that you may be better informed in all matters and things that relate to our service either from Evidences or Informers to form your Process and Proceedings on certainty and verity We Judge it necessary for our service and therefore do hereby Authorize and Impower you to Administer any Oath or Oaths to any Witness or Witnesses Informer or Informers that shall be summoned or pretend to give Evidence in any Cause or Matter when and as often as you find the Same requisite for our service To have hold use Exercise and Enjoy the said office and the perquisites and Profits to the same belonging during our Pleasure Witness Our Trusty and well beloved Horatio Sharpe Esq.r Governor and Commander in Chief in and over our said Province this Fourth Day of June in the sixteenth year of our Dominion Annoq Domini 1766 U Scott Cl Con The Great seal Horatio in wax Sharpe 5½ sides Appendant Record 22.d July 1766 Ex.d This Indenture Made this Twenty fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty six between Thomas Murray of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland of one Part and Henry Green of Baltimore County and Province aforesaid of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Thomas Murray for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred Pounds Current Money in hand ^already^ paid the Receipt whereof the said Thomas Murray doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth hereby acquit and Discharge the said Henry Green his Heirs Executors and Administrators for Ever hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents do give grant bargain sell alien enfeoffe and confirm unto him the said Henry Green (his) |
