       and every part and parcel thereof to and for the only proper Use
       and Behoof of him the said Mark Heard his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or Purpose
       whatsoever   In Witness whereof the Parties to these
       Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands
       and affixed their seals the day and Year first above written
                Signed Sealed and Delivered
                in the presence of Us

                         John Hall   (s)         Robert Fenwick      (s)
                         Mark Heard  (s)     Susannah Fenwick  (s)

          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written   Viz

       Received the day and year first within Written of the within named
       Mark Heard six Thousand Pounds of Crop Tobacco being the
       consideration within Mentioned to be paid by him to us
                         Mev.l Lock                              Robert Fenwick
       Witness      Hugh Hopewell                        Susannah Fenwick

          September 1762   Came before us the subscribers two
       of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Saint Marys County the
       within named Robert Fenwick Susannah his Wife and
       Mark Heard & severally acknowledged the within Instrument
       of Writing to be their Act & Deed & the Lands & Premisses within
       Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Named Mark
       Heard his heirs and assigns according to the true Intent and
       Meaning of the same Deed and the act of assembly in such
       case made and provided                  And on the same Day
