312. Ex.d To all to whom these presents shall come I Nicholas Minskey of the City of Annapolis send Greeting Whereas I am indebted unto Nicholas Maccubbin of the City of Annapolis Merchant in the sum of Twenty five Pounds and four pence sterling Money to be paid unto the said Nicholas Maccubbin with legal interest And Whereas at my special Instance and Request a certain Allen Quynn of the City of Annapolis Cordwainer stands engaged for me the said Nicholas Minskey unto the aforesaid Nicholas Maccubbin in a Bond or Obligation for payment of the said sum of Twenty Five Pounds and Four Pence with legal interest Now Know Ye that I the said Nicholas Minskey for and towards the payment and satisfaction of the said sum of Money with legal interest and for divers other good causes and considerations Have granted Assigned Bargained and sold and by these presents do freely and absolutely Grant assign Bargain and sell unto the said Allen Quynn one Negro Wench called Pitt with all the increase she now hath or hereafter shall have To have and to hold the said Negro Wench with her increase aforesaid unto him the said Allen Quynn his Heirs and Assigns for ever [And I hereby impower the said Allen Quynn his Heirs and Assigns for ever] And I hereby impower the said the said Allen Quynn to sell and dispose of the said Negro Wench with her increase |
