294 The words for ever between the Twenty second & Twenty third Lines, and the Word Witnesseth between the third & fourth being first interlined Witness Geo Stuart Thomas Richardson February 8.th 1763 Then came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Richard Mackubbin and Elizabeth his Wife and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein specified to be the Right and Estate of the within named James Dick his Heirs and Assigns according to the true intent and meaning thereof also Elizabeth Wife of him the said Richard being privately examined a part from and out of the hearing of her said Husband did repeal as above and also did further declare that she made this acknowledgment of her own free will and accord without any threat or compulsion from her said Husband or fear of his displeasure Geo Stuart February 8.th 1763 Received from James Dick five shillings sterling Money it being the Consideration Money for the within Bargained Tract of Land and premisses Geo Stuart Rich.d Mackubin (s) Tho.s Richardson Eliz.a Mackubin (s) Recorded the 8.th February 1763 7 s.d x.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this J Warfield Twelfth day of February One thousand Seven hundred and sixty three Q Anns between Edward Hall of Ann Arundel County in the Province afores.d planter of the one part and John Warfield of said Court of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edward Hall for and in consideration of |
