268 December 11.th 1762 Received of William Aldridge the sum of Ten Pounds Sterling Money which being the within consideration of the within Deed Ann Hammond Ephr howard John Burgess Jun.r Hen Griffith Then Came before us Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County within Named Ann Hammond and Henry Griffith and Acknowledged the Within Indenture to be their Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Mention'd to be the Right and Estate of the within Named William Aldridge his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True intent and Meaning of the same and the Act of Assembly in that case made and provided taken and Acknowledged before us the subscribers this 11.th day of December 1762 Ephr howard John Burgess Jun.r December 16.th 1762 Received of the within named William Aldridge the sum of One Pound one shilling and Ten Pence half penny Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation fine on the within five hundred & Forty six Acres of Land by Virtue of a commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & Receiver general Benj.a Beall 11 s.d Recorded the 16.th December 1762 |
