236 September 20.th 1762 Received of Patrick Dunkan fifty eight Pounds ten shillings Currentcy being the considerat.n money within mentioned p Amon Butler Testis NRuxton Gay 1762 October 7.th Received of M.r Patrick Dunkan four hundred shillings and eight pence half penny Sterling or the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land by Virtue of a commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver generall Benj.a Beall 8 sides Recorded the 7.th October 1762 Exam.d Elizabeth Bennett of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland aged sixty Years and appeared being duly sworn on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices Deposeth and saith that se has constantly resided in the City of Annapolis aforesaid and in S.t Marg.ts Westminster Parish in the Neighbourhood of the said city for these thirty Years ^last^ past, and that she was well acquainted with and personally Knew Charles Peale formerly of the City of Annapolis aforesaid that her Knowledge of and Acquaintance with him began upon his first coming to Reside in Annapolis up |
