230 of the Sum of Seven Pounds eighteen shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said George Mathews, the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell to the said George Mathews all that part of a Tract of Land called Butlers farm contained within the following Metes and Bounds Viz Beginning at the End of thirty perches from the beginning of the south forty degrees West seventy Eight perches ^being the twenty third^ line of the whole Tract, and running South forty degrees West forty eight Perches to the End of the said Line then bounding on the said Land the eight courses following Viz South sixty Degrees West eighty six perches North thirty six perches, South forty Nine Degrees West one hundred and twelve perches south Eighty Eight Degrees West Thirty Perches, North ten Degrees East One hundred Perches, North thirty four Degrees East Ninety Six Perches South Eighty Seven Degrees East sixty three perches North forty two Degrees East Seventy seven Perches; and then to the beginning for one hundred fifty eight Acres more or less with all and singular the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and also all the Rigth, Estate, Interest Benefit Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Amon Butler of in and to all and singular the Premisses To have and to hold the said parcel of Land, and all and singular the premisses with the appurtenances herein before mentioned & intended to be hereby granted, to the said George Mathews his Heirs and Assigns for ever, to the only proper use and behoof of |
