218 and each of them for us and in our Names to Acknowledge the within Deed as the Act and Deed of us in such Maner as the Laws of Maryland shall or may require and for their or either of their so doing this shall be their sufficient Warrant Given under our Hands and Seals this seventeenth day of April in the Year seventeen hundred and sixty two Barth Pomeroy Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Jos Janson (s) M Macnemara & Daniel Dulany Be it remembered that on the 24.th day of September Anno Domini 1762 before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland personally appeared Bryan Philpot one of the attornies appointed by the foregoing Power of attorney, and in pursuance thereof acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be the Act and Deed of the within named Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson and the Lands and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the within named Thomas Rutland his Heirs and Assigns, according to the true Intent & Meaning of |
